Warehousing
If you have any excess inventory or equipment that isn't getting used, we offer secure warehousing to our customers. Operations include over 400,000 square feet of warehousing space at convenient locations in both Detroit and Pontiac. We have truck docks, street level entry, and freight elevators, for the express purpose of making the process as simple and effortless as possible. When you need your merchandise again, we will ship it to you.
Heat-Treating for Export
Raw wood in its unprocessed form can harbor insects and larvae. In order to prevent the spread of these pests through international trade, the International Plant Protection Convention (IPPC) has adopted certain standards and regulations for wood packaging materials that travel abroad.
Our heat treating facilities let us prepare your pallets, boxes, and other wood packaging materials for export, in full compliance with ISPM regulations and IPPC stamping requirements. We have two chambers on site in Detroit and another in Northern Michigan, each capable of treating a full semi-load's worth of material at a time. These chambers heat the product to a core temperature of 140 F for a minimum of 30 minutes, exterminating any pests within them. We then stamp the products according to regulations.
